AEW Dynamite June 19, 2024 Preview, Match Card, Line-up
AEW Dynamite episode of June 19, 2024, will see the start of Owen Hart Foundation Tournament 2024 along with the build-up for Forbidden Door 2024 PPV.
MJF vs RUSH: MJF and Rush are set for a singles match which will open the show. Also, the first 30 minutes for the show are going to be ad-free. So, we are able to see the complete match uninterrupted.
The Young Bucks(Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson) will face The Acclaimed(Max Caster & Anthony Bowens) in AEW Tag Team Title Eliminator match which was mandated by Tony Khan last week. The Acclaimed will get a title shot at Forbidden Door if they win this match.
Similarly, Kazuchika Okada will be in action in AEW Continental Title Eliminator match.
Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa are announced for a contract signing segment for their match at Forbidden Door over AEW Women’s Championship. Mariah May, who is a friend to both these women, will play the role of a mediator.
An 8-man tag team match is also set for Dynamite on June 19 where Orange Cassidy, Dante Martin, Kyle O’Reilly and Mark Briscoe will face Roderick Strong, Kyle Fletcher & Konosuke Takeshita and Zack Sabre Jr. Marin, Briscoe and Takeshita are set to be part of TNT title ladder match at Forbidden Door while Cassidy and Sabre will clash in a different singles match.
AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland and his title challenger Will Ospreay will come face-to-face in the build-up for their title match at the upcoming PPV.
Two matches from Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament will take place. Men’s quarterfinal match will see Claudio Castagnoli take on PAC. In the women match, Kris Statlander will take on Nyla Rose to kick-off the tournament.
