Charlotte Flair & Bianca Belair vs Damage CTRL Set for 8/18 SmackDown

A new women’s tag team match is added just a few hours before the August 18 episode of SmackDown. 

WWE officially revealed that WWE Women’s Champion Iyo Sky & Bayley of the Damage CTRL will face Bianca Belair & Charlotte Flair in a tag team match.

Last week on SmackDown, Charlotte faced Asuka in a singles match. However, Damage CTRL attacked both women before they could finish the match. 

Bianca was out of action due to her knee injury which she suffered during SummerSlam 2023. Bianca won the title in the triple-threat match despite suffering an injury, but Iyo capitalized on this opportunity and cashed in her MITB briefcase and became the new WWE Women’s Champion. 

So now, will two of the greatest former WWE Women’s Champions be able to end the dominance of Damage CTRL to make a statement, or will Iyo Sky prove why she is a champion? 

Moreover, August 18 SmackDown will also feature Edge vs Sheamus along with Edge’s 25th Year Anniversary, and Grayson Waller Effect featuring Rey Mysterio.
