Damian Priest vs Seth Rollins Announced for WWE Money in the Bank 2024
Damian Priest will defend World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins at WWE Money in the Bank 2024 PLE.
Rollins, the inaugural World Heavyweight Champion, returned to WWE TV after 10 weeks on RAW this week. He clearly mentioned that he wanted to become the World Champion once again and targetted Money in the Bank as the most direct way to achieve that goal.
Priest, the reigning World Heavyweight Champion, came out and told Rollins that he could have a title match at Money in the Bank if he wanted. Rollins immediately accepted the offer and the match was made official within minutes. This is the third match to be confirmed for Money in the Bank 2024 event which is set to take place on July 6, 2024.
Seth Rollins lost the title to Drew McIntyre on the night 2 of WrestleMania XL. Priest then cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase against McIntyre to win the title. Seth Rollins went on hiatus after WrestleMania, and only returned to RAW this week.
