WWE NXT Heatwave 2024
WWE NXT Heatwave 2024 PLE is scheduled for July 7, 2024, at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada. The event takes place in the same weekend and same location as Money in the Bank 2024 PLE which takes place on July 6. The event is expected to start at 8 PM ET after one hour pre-show which will start at 7 PM ET.

NOTES & STORYLINES
WWE announced in January 2024 that NXT Heatwave will return as a PLE to take place on July 7 at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada, after SmackDown on July 5 and Money in the Bank on July 6. Heatwave series returned in WWE as NXT Weekly special in 2022 and 2023. This is the third event under Heatwave under NXT while being the 10th event overall in the series.
NXT Championship: WWE Champion Cody Rhodes appeared on NXT June 11 episode to announce a 25-Man Battle Royal to take place the following week. The winner of this Battle Royal would challenge NXT Champion Trick Williams at Heatwave. Cody also said that the participants of this match might be from different rosters, teasing involvement of TNA Wrestling talent. Je’Von Evans won the Battle Royal to get a title shot. Ethan Page defeated Evans in a singles match later on the same episode.
NXT Tag Team Championship: During June 18 NXT episode, it was announced that a tag team turmoil match would take place the following week and the winner of that match would get a shot at Tag Team Championship at Heatwave.
