WWE NXT has announced four matches and a segment for September 26, 2023, episode of NXT, including a Strap match and Butch vs Joe Coffey.

Eddy Thorpe will face Dijak on September 26 episode of NXT in a Strap match. Eddy Thorpe and Dijak have been engaged in a feud for several weeks, with Dijak emerging victorious in two of their encounters.

During the September 12 episode of WWE NXT, Dijak displayed disrespect by destroying a place that held emotional value for Thorpe. This was illustrated by his act of striking a tree with a belt. On the September 19 episode of NXT, Eddy Thorpe reacted to Dijak’s actions and issued a challenge for a Strap Match. WWE subsequently confirmed and announced this match for the upcoming week’s event.

The NXT Global Heritage Invitational final match is scheduled for next week’s episode of NXT, where Butch is set to face Joe Coffey. Butch earned his spot in the final from group A by defeating Tyler Bate during the September 19 episode of NXT.

In the same episode, a triple threat tiebreaker match was arranged featuring Hudson, Nathan Frazer, and Coffey. Coffey emerged victorious in this match, securing his spot in the final from group B. The winner between Coffey and Butch will face Noam Dar for the NXT Heritage Cup at NXT No Mercy 2023 PLE.

Trick Williams is also set for September 26 episode of NXT, where he will face Joe Gacy. The match was set because, on the September 19 episode of NXT, Gacy invited Williams to join his team, but Williams declined, which resulted in a match for next week.

Gigi Dolin is also set for the show, as she will continue her ongoing feud with Blair Davenport in a singles match. A segment is also set where Carmelo Hayes and Ilja Dragunov will officially sign the contract for their match at No Mercy 2023 PLE. In the bout, Hayes will be defending his NXT title.

Carmelo Hayes and Ilja Dragunov will sign the contract for their rematch at No Mercy. Dragunov attacked Dominik Mysterio during his match against Hayes this week on NXT after being instigated by Dominik. Dominik ended up pulling Hayes into Dragunov’s torpedo.

WWE NXT September 26, 2023 episode will be the go-home episode before No Mercy 2023 PPV. The announced line-up for the show is as below:
